My favorite restaurant in Grand Haven! Food is amazing and well priced, their specials of the month are always amazing. The food that isn’t sushi is also some of the best in town, and atmosphere is super cozy and fun!

First time here. Wish I knew about this place sooner, so good! Restaurant is clean and smells great when you walk in. Hip new atmosphere! TV showing all their awesome rolls to make it easier to choose which are more to our liking. We ordered 3 rolls, all were amazing. We will be back for sure

LUCKY TEA CAFE – A 5-STAR CULINARY HAVEN I'm a 24-year-old guy who works hard, grinds all day, and occasionally splurges on a killer takeout. While there’s the killer that tucks you in for beddy bye, there’s also the caliber that elevates your present and future with pure fuel. Lucky Tea Cafe in Grand Haven has quickly become my go-to spot, combining comfort and taste with humble artisans driving top-notch culinary flair. A MEMORABLE INTRODUCTION I was first introduced to this hidden gem in 2021 by a close friend and his family during an almost private family sit-down. That night, I learned the secret: when you order their fan-favorite Chicken Hibachi, you MUST go all in. THE SECRET IS IN THE SAUCE The real magic is in the yum-yum sauce. If you're serious about your Hibachi order, double (or even triple) the yum-yum. Mixed with tender chicken (steak alt), my choice of fried rice (over noodles), and fresh veggies, it's a flavor explosion that could fill even the yugest wrestler of GHHS’s day, kid you not an absolute unit of man (albeit bro never get full, put a smile on his face, and mine). WHOLESOME SUSHI & MORE Lucky Tea evolved into my go-to not just for hearty hibachi but also for their exceptional Lucky Sushi special rolls – always fresh to order, never dry. For about 20, you get two special rolls, a comforting mizu (or mushroom) soup, and a crisp side salad with a zesty ginger-orange dressing. LATE-NIGHT COMFORTS A true local blessing: Lucky Tea is open until 10 PM. Whether it's a post-work splurge or a spontaneous late-night craving, they're always ready. FINAL THOUGHTS For a hardworking 24-year-old who values real quality and a bit of indulgence, Lucky Tea Cafe perfectly blends comfort with culinary excellence. Remember, when it comes to Chicken Hibachi, don't hold back on that extra yum-yum. Inspired my gangster to add a wok to his kitchen arsenalFive stars, no doubt.

What a great little place in Grand Haven! Excellent customer service. Our waitress was kind and helpful. The food was tasty. We enjoyed our meal and were happy with our first visit here. There's a tea shop next door we'll have to try next time.

Got the Seaweed salad, Mushroom soup, Japanese crab rangoon, Salmon roll and the Kiss roll. EVERYTHING was SO GOOD! There wasn’t even one thing that I didn’t like. The fish was so fresh and flavorful. We’re coming back up here for my friend’s birthday. I’ve been craving their sushi since the last time we were there! Don’t let the location being in a plaza fool you. This place is amazing and lives up to all of the good reviews!

My husband and I have been here to eat in person and have also used pick up to take food home. The food is always great. The servers are always friendly. They pack the food up great so it's not likely to spill while transporting it. I love their sushi, hibachi shrimp and steak, and the soups. They also have lucky tea next door which is great for boba tea and snacks. I would highly recommend it if you want good Japanese cuisine.

Best sushi I've had...the rolls are plentiful, variety of options, they will even customize a roll for you! Fresh ingredients, excellent service...even though I live in Holland, I'll be frequenting this place for my sushi fix.
